SA2.6 Settings and Set Up

Pairing the PS4 Controller

1. Power on the SA2.6
2. Using the 8-Way Navstick, select Settings
3. Scroll Right (paging), or Down to page 3 of the settings menu
4. Select Pair New Remote
5. First press and hold the Share button and while still holding Share button, press and hold the PS Button on the PS4 controller.  This will put it into pair mode.  LED should be a fast blink, blink, pause.  Blink blink pause.  If you get a slow regular blink, start over as you did not do it correctly.
6. Controller LED will light Blue on the back LED.  On the SA2.6,  the Pair New Remote deselects.
7. You can now control the SA2 from the PS4 remote.  

Channel Mapping (Motor Reversals)

If you set up your slider solution and realize that the slider motor is driving in the opposite direction as you expect from your input. Go to the Settings menu and select channel mapping on the 3^rd page. Here you can change the direction of the Slide and turntable.

Slider

When you switch which slider you are using make sure you go to the 2^nd page of the settings menu to configure the Slider motor output appropriately.  This affects motor speeds and feel.

Mode Setting

This will let you switch between the new Easy Mode, Regular Mode and Prompt-at-Start workflows.  Easy mode has Interview Monster Modes for quick interview setups. Regular mode which has more options for programmed shots and control of motor profiles and product shooting Go To Frames.  

Port Settings

If for some reason the RS2/3 is not being controlled by the SA2 check that the CAN1 (2x3 Pin Port) is set to RS2 or RS3 accordingly.

Interview Settings

Here is where the current saved settings for the Interview Monster workflows can be edited. You can also switch between in/sec and mm/sec if desired
