We do not ship batteries internationally. In this article we explain some of the considerations for shipping batteries and what alternatives exist.
Dangerous Goods
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) sets the international regulations for shipping, including the definitions of dangerous goods. Under these regulations, batteries are classified as dangerous goods, due to the corrosive material inside of them. Shipping costs on dangerous goods are higher comparatively and packaging regulations are far more stringent.
Shipping batteries domestically is easier when done by ground, although regulations still make this difficult. While we're happy to send batteries lawfully when it is feasible, we encourage customers to source batteries through alternate channels
Sourcing Batteries
When it comes to sourcing batteries, we put together a thorough guide on finding a good battery for your ST4. Generally these can be ordered through amazon, or a local photo/video supplier such as B&H. We also provide additional information on the battery requirements for the ST4 which you can read here.
