Will the Epic Red camera work on the TB3?

The Red can be mounted on the TB3, but there are a few things to take into consideration before doing so.

When you mount a Red on a TB3 you have a high center of gravity, and a heavy payload. Therefore, it is a challenge to accomplish very fast moves. With this setup you will want as much stability as possible. If you want clean video shots, use heavy duty tripods and shoot 2-point moves with very little (10-20 frames) ramp. Wind and environmental elements will show up. While we have lots of people getting great results with this, if you are purchasing the TB3 for fast live video with the Red, reach out to us by email.
