If you are seeing "drift" or runaway motion while setting up a shot, or you see, "Center Joystick" when you try to pair, you are likely having remote issues.
These can be caused by two main issues:
1) Storing the remote with the stick deflected causes the center of joystick to be pulled to one side. While the TB3 can accommodate calibrating withing a certain range, when the joystick is heavily deflected, it will send the warning on pairing. If you manually center the joystick when prompted, the TB3 will calibrate to the temporary center and you will see drift once you release it.
2) Fouled remote internals. If a remote has been stored in a humid or damp environment, the mechanical sensors can corrode over time and cause bad reads.
In both these cases the fix is to replace the remote. Since the wireless remote stock for these style of remotes has become expensive to source, we recommend you replace any remote you are having issue with with a wired version from the eMotimo store.
The wired remotes are both reliable, not requiring batteries, and seem to be more resistant to humid and damp environment storage. Replacement is a quick process outlined in the attached file.
In any case, you can keep your remotes fresh, by always storing your TB3 and accessories in a clean, dry environment with temperature and humidity control. Ensure that when your unit is packed, nothing is touching the joystick.

I have attempted to change from the wireless to the wired, but have had this problem. Every time when I switch, it immediately says center joystick. I have attempted to level both sides, messed with the joystick, but nothing seems to change.
Hey Chris, we never formally replied out here on the Knowledge Base. From the ticket we replied to, we found the issue was you were sourcing another brand or remote that was not compatible. We only recommend you source Nyko Kama wired remotes. Links are above!
