Live Control

Setting/Recalling/Clearing the Limits

1. Use the Menu Nav to get to the Slider Motor Screen
2. Drive the slider to one end of the track and press to set Stop A
3. Drive the slider to the other end of the track and press to set Stop B
4. Hold Stop A or Stop B to recall the position for all Axis that have a Stop set
5. Hold Reset to clear the stops of a specific axis

There are a few adjustments that can be made to change the feeling of the motor control. The speed of the live control is first controlled by the Motor Profile setting of the eMotimo device. This motor profile can be changed on the device under the Live Motion menu. The Skaarhoj PTZ controller can further change the speed of each axis independently by setting the Axis Speed limit on each motor configuration screen. This value can be set between 1-100% of the base Motor Profile speed for each axis.

Reducing Speeds for all Axis Globally - Advanced Not Recommended to Start Until you Understand Individual Axis Speeds

Finally, if you want to change the speed of all the axis at once on the systems page there is a Speed Limit for the unit that can also be set between 1-100%. If the Pan Speed Limit is set to 75% and the Unit Speed Limit is set to 50% then the Pan speed will be 25% of the base Motor Profile speed (Base Speed * .75 * .5 = .375 * Base Speed)
